Any other specific symptoms you have noticed other than this one?

Customer:

Customer:

self centered

Customer:

he has never told me of any diagnosed mental illness

Customer:

usually when there is stress going on

Dr Vikas :

OK, any other symptoms such as being suspicious, paranoid, hearing voices, etc

Customer:

he always makes himself the victim in bad situations, has never admitted he heards anything. he says he is just thinking

Customer:

but has no idea he's doing it. it is very strange

Customer:

he will do it for a long time until you tell him he is doing it

Dr Vikas :

This typical behavior can be normal or abnormal.

Customer:

Customer:

he saw a therapist

Dr Vikas :

OK

Dr Vikas :

I was saying that this typical behavior can be normal or abnormal (abnormal if associated with other symptoms.)

Customer:

ok, thank you

Dr Vikas :

wait, I have not finished yet

Customer:

sorry

Dr Vikas :

few people may have habit of talking to themselves and they do it unintentionally without realizing it.

Dr Vikas :

on the other hand, in patients hearing voices (auditory hallucination), these patients also show the similar behavior. It appears to an external observer that they are talking to someone but no one is around.

Dr Vikas :

That is why I was asking, are there any other associated symptoms like being paranoid, suspicious, etc.

Dr Vikas :

Usually these symptoms are also present in patients hearing voices.

Customer:

like schizophrenia?

Dr Vikas :

yes, in psychotic illness like Schizophrenia.

Customer:

ok, thank you

Dr Vikas :

welcome.

Dr Vikas :

DO you have any other question to ask?

Customer:

no i am just getting concerned and needed to know if it could be a problem since it's getting worse. Thank you

Dr Vikas :

OK.
