I am having issues concentrating and focusing on simple tasks

Customer Question

I am having issues concentrating and focusing on simple tasks like folding clothes or doing dishes. I seem unable to finish these tasks before starting on another. I feel like my thoughts are going a million miles a minuet but I'm in slow motion. Along with all of this I am really tired most of the time... What might be wrong with me?

I am very sorry to know about your situation. The symptoms you described could be present for very different reasons and are common in diverse mental health disorders. the only way to truly know is by a careful complete psychological assessment.
If you share some more information i could provide more sound feedback. For how long have you felt this way? Are you aware of any specific issue or challenging circumstances or changes in your life happening right before these changes started? How is your mood; are you feeling sad, with poor motivation, low energy level, unable to enjoy activities you enjoyed in the past? Has your appetite or sleep habits-patters changed? What about your job and relationships, have they been affected by these symptoms too? Finally have you been using any drugs (legal or illegal)?
Please reply when possible so we could dialogue about it. Thank you.

I have been this way for about 2 years but it was gradual not all at once. I can't think of anything in my life that has happened. My mood is fine. I'm happy when I should and I'm sad when I should. I feel anxious all the time and I don't have a great sleep schedule but its not because of work or anything its because I can't wind down. I really don't get very hungry anymore although I eat when I need food. I haven't been intimate with my husband for a long time either. I don't take any drugs legal or illegal.
