Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Seeking expert counseling is a sign of strength. A personal relationship with a caring professional is proven clinically effective.

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

How can I help you, Sir?

Customer:

hello Sir

Customer:

Dear Sir,

I am having tremendous Obsessions, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression, De-personalization Disorder (and sometimes mood swings but its
major on the depressive side.)

Sir, I would like to know which is the best drug for OCD which is creating a havoc in my life.

I was considering FLUVOXAMINE or CLOMIPRAMINE or PAROXETINE as the main drug for OCD. Following are rest of the drugs for my
other problems.

1) Whichever of the above you deem appropriate.

2) Aripiprazole 15mg per day.

3) Pregabalin 300mg (or higher if u deem appropriate) per day

4) Clonazepam 1mg sos.

Sir, do I also need Valproate or Lamotrigine. If yes, which one is superior in my case ?

Customer:

I hate to take bath, i hate to brush my teeth...

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Sir,

Customer:

Sir, u have to finalise my meds now.....i am waiting for my meds to be taken

Customer:

i need strong anti-obsessional drugs

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Very often a person who begins to neglect their personal hygiene may be starting to show symptoms of schizophrenia. I cannot possibly recommend what drugs you should be taking without having seen and talked to you in person. Perhaps you would be better off continuing with Dr. Rao, or Dr. Kaushik, or Dr. Vikas.

Customer:

Sir, plz help me anything

Customer:

I can tell you everything that you want

Customer:

plz atleast suggest me drugs

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Give me a moment sir and I will give you the best information on the drugs you mentioned. If you prefer I can get you in touch with Dr. Rao, Dr. Vikas, or Dr. Kaushik. One moment please.

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Fluvoxamine is often prescribed for OCD. I see that you already take it.

Customer:

no....i have not taken it yet

Customer:

i m just weighing the drugs effectiveness

Customer:

sir, which is superior, fluvoxamine or clomipramine for my condition

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Each person reacts differently to medications. Because OCD is your most pressing issue, then perhaps fluvoxamine would do the best. What does your psychiatrist recommend? I do not think that treating yourself over the internet is the safest or most effective way to treat your potentially serious problems.

Customer:

one of my local doctors is prescribing fluvoxamine and the other local doctor is advocating clomipramine

Customer:

ok, so i shall tell me local doctor to get me precribed FLUVOXAMINE

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Clomipramine is also recommended for OCD and it very useful for panic disorder as well

Customer:

now, which one do u suggest for me among the two

Customer:

sir, i shall give u an excellent rating, plz solve my issue

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Give me one moment please, Sir.

Customer:

clomipramine or fluvoxamine , which one will be superiror to me

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Fluvoxamine is better for OCD and GAD. Clomipramine is better for OCD and panic disorder.

Customer:

ok, then i shall go with Fluvoxamin

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

According the the literature, fluvoxamine should be more effective tfor you./

Customer:

ok sir

Customer:

now, lastly sir

Customer:

do i need valproate or Lamotrigine....if so, which one is better for me ?

Customer:

i always remain depressed

Customer:

i dont have manic symptoms

Customer:

i neglect personal hygine

Customer:

to a great extent

Customer:

i bathe in abt 1 week once

Customer:

brush my teeth once in 2 days

Customer:

plz help me sir

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Lamotrigine (lamictal) is used in monopolar depression as an adjunct medication to boost the effectiveness of you antidepressants.

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Why do you neglect your personal hygiene?

Customer:

i dont feel like living hyginicaly

Customer:

i dont like

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Then it is a choice.

Customer:

noooo

Customer:

not a choice

Customer:

its my personality, my mental problem

Customer:

i neglect those

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

It is a compulsion then or is it something that you detest doing?

Customer:

i dont know

Customer:

i just neglect personal hygine

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

I strongly urge you, from the bottom of my heart, to discuss this with a psychiatrist. It may be an indication of the onset of schizophrenia, which can be delayed or reduced or softened by proper attention.

Customer:

ok, lastly, just one thing

Customer:

do i need valproate or lamotrigine , according to you //?

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

On the other hand, it could be your OCD but you should have it checked out

Customer:

for all the problems mentioned above

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

According to my research, lamotrigine would be more normally given as an adjunct with an antidepressant in cases of resistant depression.

Customer:

ok sir, thanks a lot....i shall tell me doc to start giving me fluvoxamine

Customer:

thanks a lot.

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Namaste

Customer:

Namaste :)

Customer:

sir, i m really in very very distress

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

I understand. I urge you to see a proper psychiatrist, and I shall hold you in my prayers.

Customer:

thanks a lot sir :)

Customer:

good bye

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Thank you as well.

Customer:

ok, now its time for rating

Customer:

bye'

Elliott Sewell, LPCC, NCC :

Bye and God bless you.
