if anxiety in a child is known to come along with another condition such as tourettes syndrome do we treat the anxiety or can it not be helped ? ( ie if it is chemically affected in brain

Even though anxiety can be related to Tourettes, it should also be treated. The goal should always be to have the child in the least amount of distress. Some of the medication regimes used to treat Tourettes should also touch on the anxiety.
Both anxiety and Tourettes are chemically affected in the brain-that is why certain medications can be used to work on those receptors.
