I am a repairman for Coca Cola. I have been accused of taking

Customer Question

I am a repairman for Coca Cola. I have been accused of taking money from a vending machine while clearing a coin jam. It is not a large sum of money. I am currently suspended while they investigate. I am convinced that I did not take any of the money. The repair did not take any real thought. Is it possible I took some with out thinking? I am very confused.

Dr. Rossi :

Hi,

Dr. Rossi :

People could do things authomatically w/o thinking

Dr. Rossi :

Often this takes place when they're tired or othewise thinking of something else or doing something else (listening to music, worrying)

JACUSTOMER-f10ojlp9- :

where would I go to explore this more

Dr. Rossi :

If you were repairing the machine, it mostly was an authomatic work that you're used to

JACUSTOMER-f10ojlp9- :

correct

Dr. Rossi :

If you're asking how to find out if something took place, hypnosis may be something that can be helpful

JACUSTOMER-f10ojlp9- :

I am looking more to educate myself to see if I would fit the senario

Dr. Rossi :

Isn't it possible that you did not take any money but that someone had put money in and the machine had dispensed two items?

Dr. Rossi :

Information relating to aouthomatically performing tasks as well as how sleep deprivation and stress can affect one's memory would be the literature you're seeking

JACUSTOMER-f10ojlp9- :

they said they did an audit of the machine. they are giving me very little details about anything else

Dr. Rossi :

Either library or online research for literaly journal articles

Dr. Rossi :

would shed light onto this sort of behavior

JACUSTOMER-f10ojlp9- :

what is it classified under
