Its Sara again. Guess what? My OB put me on a progesterone

Resolved Question:

It's Sara again. Guess what? My OB put me on a progesterone creme about 9 months ago. An attending always sees me the last bit of my appointment with my psychiatry intern, Dr. J. The attending put me on an all estrogen birth control and told me to only take the active pills before starting the next pkg. My maternal grandma had her last period by 40 yo. Don't know about other grandma. Mom had early hysterectomy and sister is much younger. Your take on menopause is interesting.

Wow - there could be a family history there that's worth looking into. The progesterone connection between some psychotic symptoms exists, so being on the cream to replace lost progesterone is a great idea. Very interesting link though!
