Hello- Thank you for asking the question. I have over 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families & am happy to reply.
I am sorry to hear about this problem.
From what you write and based on my more than 3 decades of experience working with people with anxiety related disorders, it sounds as though you may have an problem related to obsessive compulsive disorder where thoughts overwhelm you to the point of having to take action to reduce accompanying anxiety.
OCD is very treatable and I suggest that you consult with a Board Certified Psychiatrist to address this issue as medication is often necessary to bring these impulse control issues under control.
