i see faces of people every where - on the carpet, curtains, walls. people i have never seen before, am i going mad?

it sounds like you are experiencing hallucinations as part of some psychotic symptoms. I would advise you to go to your GP urgently and report these and any other symptoms you are experiencing such as hearing voices or other kind of hallucinations. He will be able to assess you and refer you to your local mental health team. If you feel that you cannot wait until tomorrow, it woul dbe wise to go to your nearest hospital in the A&E department. You may be experiencing a psychotic episode and this needs to be fully assessed and treated.
