Do you mean BPD as in Bipolar disorder or BPD as in Borderline Personality Disorder?

If bipolar, you will have had at least one episode of manic behavior, involving issues around impulse control, eating, spending, sexual behavior, agitation, racing thoughts, insomnia lasting days at a time, angry outbursts, pressured speech in such as way as it interfered with your daily life. If this sounds familiar you need a mood stabilizer. I recommend Lamictal, since it is generally well tolerated and there is no weight gain.

If borderline personality disorder, you will have a history of volatile relationships, mood swings, depression, irritability, substance abuse, self harm and suicide attempts. You keep looking outside yourself for fulfillment and completion and get angry when people disappoint you, as they invariably will. If this sounds familiar you need a DBT group as well as an anti-depressant.

I hope this has been helpful. I wish you the best of luck.
