Social Anxiety Disorder can be debilitating. Unfortunately, treatment requires that you do put yourself into social situations such as going to the doctor and seeking therapy.
Medications of benzodiazepines and beta blockers can help, but the practice of going into society helps tremendously as well. A therapist helps with the later.
You may want to look at some on line type of therapy initially, although I wouldn't recommend this for a long time, because it will reinforce your ability to remain inbound. Initially talking to someone can help, and they will give you practice exercises to involve social situations, but it will ultimately be up to you if you actually do these tasks.
