Hello,

It will probably never be possible for your husband to accept his disease as it is part of it. Try to stay away from direct disagreements. Be as unconditionally accepting as possible. Try to avoid power struggles and frame choices so that he he does not feel disempowered. It is a very rough rule. Stay away from negative expressions of emotion. Hello,

Medication can help to some degree in lessening the symptoms. They make the symptoms less severe and more acceptable allowing the individual live a more fufilling life. However as far as total recovery medication will in most cases not make the individual totally symptom free.
