My son had a mental break down, threw a tantrum, had to be

Resolved Question:

My son had a mental break down, threw a tantrum, had to be subdued and take him to an ER. During the tantrum, I've asked him for a four number cod and he answered correctly. My question is, would person with schizophrenia remember and answer the question correctly?

Some signs of schizophrenia include hallucinations (seeing things that are not there), hearing voices, and having delusions. A person with schizophrenia can have certain logical thought processes very much intact, so being able to recall a code correctly would not be a good way to test for schizophrenia. A person being out of control and/or having a tantrum could be caused by many things besides schizophrenia.
