I have been told that diabetic patients often have anger management problems. What could be done to alleviate or prevent that?

Research has shown that diabetes and depression are often co-morbid conditions. We don't know if diabetes causes depression or vice versa, but is not really important. What matters is that it happens frequently. One of the symptoms of depression, especially for men, is irritability and angry outbursts. Therefore, it stands to reason that your patient may benefit from an antidepressant to help him manage his moods and be less inclined to have the outbursts. Ask your doctor about this. Good luck.
