Know anything about the older 843 bobcat?
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: 5020-m-1186
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It's hard to start. But sometimes if I take the fuel cap off. It will go ahead and start.
JA: Anything else you want the equipment mechanic to know before I connect you?

To adjust the arm linkage , you remove the linkage at the drive pumps, then start unit and let the pump levers neutralize, then adjust the linkages to match the levers . That gives you neutral.
