My clutch is taking up untill the pedal is fully released. Could the rod that pushes the clutch open be bent? Is there and adjustment in the take up position

Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

To adjust the clutch follow the clutch pedal to its pivot point then follow the linkage on. There will be a turnbuckle device on the linkage, you will want to adjust this so you have approximately 1 inch of "free" pedal. This is pedal travel without feeling the main resistance of the clutch release, where the pedal moves easily then you should feel the resistance get much higher, this it the free travel. You may have to adjust quite a bit before you get any free travel as it sounds like the clutch is far from being in correct adjustment

I hope this helps you
