I have a 2005 w900L with a mxs cat. It through a boost

Customer Question

I have a 2005 w900L with a mxs cat. It through a boost sensor code so I changed it. It through a 92 code so I changed the vva seleniod. It still is deregulated and is throwing a 93 code now. I'm starting to think that the ecm is flaking out. I've changed the harness in the head. I am at a loss to what's next.
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix. The heavy truck mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts.
Customer: Ok thanks
JA: Anything else you want the truck mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not sure what more I could tell him. I'm thinking maybe the vva oil pressure sensor but not sure.

Hi my name is***** will be glad to help. Bare with me while I pull up your codes.

Expert:  Daniel Wilson replied 18 days ago.

Code 92 is an intake valve actuator #1 or #2 fault.

The common causes

-Intake valve actuator harness or intake valve actuator solenoid or housing

Check for studs for the intake valve actuator which are known to break

If replacing the IVA solenoids dont correct code 93 and the wiring is OK, you have a faulty IVA housing and it must be replaced. Let me know
