Problems with my Thermo. Changed alternator and battery.

I am Having Charging problems with my Thermo King Reefer. Changed alternator and battery. Checked all wiring. Could not find a diode conection you are talking about
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: I go get it
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: SB 300 TK486CH. Checked voltages, Changed battery and alternator, and checked continuity through + and -.
JA: Anything else you want the equipment mechanic to know before I connect you?

there is a 5" pig tail diode, which connects from alternator harness and main harness

the plug will be either square or triangle, Replace that
