ok thanks, ***** ***** the reasoning for replacing #2 piston and rings in the first place?
ok thank you, ***** ***** replace the liner also or just the piston and rings, #2 rod bearing spun?
ok did you have the crank journal cleaned up and install oversize bearings or did you just plasti gauge the bearings and it was good
were the valves and valve seats inspected carefully?
was the head sent out and pressure tested?
yes that is exactly what i was thinking, only thing it can really be, i was looking up compression tester and looks like you can get a aftermarket one for about $80 http://www.tooldiscounter.com/ItemDisplay.cfm?lookup=STATU-15-25&source=froogle&kw=STATU-15-25&gclid=CjwKEAjwj92_BRDQ-NuC98SZkWYSJACWmjhlN8cZiR-rpFoXks1y3Jo384bloToCa2QRwLaelD4cRxoCC4bw_wcB
my only other thought was that you somehow got the wrong rod or pistion
yeah almost has to be a broken ring, everything else seems like you replaced or it was inspected. Have you rechecked the valve lash just to be sure?
ok that sounds good
