I have a C7 and i can't locate the sticker with the serial #

Hi Wilson, I have a C7 and i can't locate the sticker with the serial # What is the best way of cross reference with the Vin# ? What is the GM phone # to call to address that?
JA: What's the make/model/year of your truck? Engine type?
Customer: 1999 GMC T8500 C7 Catterpilar
JA: Anything else you want the truck mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No, thanks , i have to find out the Engine's Serial # Have no sticker at the engine

If the sticker is missing on the cave cover. There should be a tag on the side of the block under the turbo. It has the engine serial number on it.Please reply back if you need more help or have more questions. I am happy to assist.

cave cover is the block engine cover, right?

Should have said valve cover. The sticker is normally on the valve cover or the front of the engine cover. If they are missing. Cat puts a metal tag under the turbo on the block.
