if you are going at HWY speed and press the clutch vibration goes away. it is also wearing the front tires . one of them on the outside , the other one on the inside. Im going for a e axles aligment tomorrow. it also makes like a hollow sound when accelerate.

Expert:  roybelding replied 3 months ago.

sorry, was traveling to texas today for a class

Expert:  roybelding replied 3 months ago.

what was the code???

as far as the clutch, it is the only thing that makes sense. by depressing the clutch, the vibration stops which limits it to this area

Roy

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
I think it's the turbo . It's not so much like a vibration but like a hollow sound . Truck is loosing power too
Expert:  roybelding replied 3 months ago.

thats a separate issue. a turbo would not change a vibration by pushing the clutch

yes, it could also be a leak in the CAC system. hose, clamp, CAC itself. make sure you inspect the air system carefully

Roy

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
How can I check that ?
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Do you think is the clutch ?
Expert:  roybelding replied 3 months ago.

yep, I think one of you issues is the clutch

the other could be a boost leak from the cac system.

to check it have someone load up the engine and you need to look and listen for a boost leak in the system.

Could it be the bearing in between the transmission and the engine ??
Expert:  roybelding replied 3 months ago.

do you mean the pilot bearing??? that would give you a vibration when you let the clutch out from a start

please dont forget to rate me as it is the only way I get paid for my efforts

Roy

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
that one . So you I need a new clutch ?
Expert:  roybelding replied 3 months ago.

I think you need to at least have the trans pulled and have the clutch inspected. the throwout bearing rides on an arm and that has bushings that are common for wearing out. that play alone may be the entire issue but the clutch still has to be inspected.

Hi . There is a new issue . Truck is having us doing a regen 3 nights in a route. Could this be a turbo issue as well ? Like the turbo not blowing enough hot air or something ?
