Customer Question

I have an Eaton Fuller Auto Shift Model RTO 16910B-DM2. It will not shift out of neutral and the indicator flashes between N and F. When you retrieve active codes you get 63. Does this mean that the gear select motor is bad or that it's more than likely a loose connection? Any help would be appreciated

Hi Ben sorry for delay.

This fault most times is caused by poor battery supply power to trans controller, start with cleaning all battery connections and inline fuse in battery box.

Click here for t/r manual, go to page 146 to troubleshoot fault

Pay close attention for corrosion in fuse holder and eyelet connection from fuse holder to battery power in battery box, they are common issues with this fault, any corrosion can reduce power to controller causing fault.
