good afternoon my name is ***** ***** be a plug near the top of the HUEY pump that you can remove and squirt oil into. normally when I replace them I crank the engine for a few seconds and they are read to go.... but once in a while you run into one that wont go that easy.

I'm not getting main engine oil pressure after having the timing cover off. It was before. is there any other oil pump to prime??
Expert:  John Oliver replied 5 months ago.

oh no.... ya the high pressure oil pump is fed by the engine oil pump in the base. you should engine oil psi climb after a few seconds of cranking. because you had the front cover off I would be looking closely there for the issue.
