Customer Question

WE HAVE A MITSU TRUCK VIN#JL6DGM1E27K002384,THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON
RANDOMLY-NO DRIVEABILITY SYMPTOMS,I HAVE CHECKED FOR CURRENT CODES AS WELL AS MEMORY CODES BY FIRST DISCONNECTING THE DIAGNOSTIC CONNECTOR(IN THE GLOVE BOX) AND THEN THE MEMORY CONNECTOR,THE ONLY FLASH CODE APPEARED WAS
ONE FLASH,REPEATEDLY,THE LIGHT ON THE RIGHT SIDE CENTER(NEAREST SPEEDO) WAS THE LIGHT THAT FLASHED-THE CHECK ENGINE THAT WAS ON YESTERDAY WAS THE LAMP
THAT SAID CHECK ENGINE LIGHT-ON LEFT SIDE OF DASH.
MY QUESTION IS-IS MY PROCEDURE CORRECT AND CAN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT(LEFT SIDE OF DASH) COME ON WITHOUT LEAVING A MEMEORY CODE.
