How can I pull out the codes with out the software
Expert:  cumminsdr replied 10 months ago.

They should be on the dash. SPN or PID and FMI numbers

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
It's don't show me the numbers just that engine derate
Expert:  cumminsdr replied 10 months ago.

You cannot see numbers in the dash screen ? Does your unit have the DIAG switch or knob to inform you of the fault/? What is you dash saying why it is in derate? what is the message?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Here I think there is an issue with ECM now it don't even show me the other codes
Expert:  cumminsdr replied 10 months ago.

Yes there is something not correct with the unit. When the DIAG is active it should show coeds. You should have either a TOW or field service tech come out and see if hey can hook up the the units computers and see what is going on.

Ok you need to seek a Cummins or a dealer for repair here is the fault info

Fault Code: 2274
PID: P411
SPN: 411
FMI: 4/4
LAMP: Amber
SRT:

Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Delta Pressure Sensor Circuit - Voltage Below Normal or Shorted to Low Source. Low signal voltage detected at the EGR differential pressure sensor circuit.

EGR valve actuation will be disabled

Possible causes of this fault code include:

  • A signal circuit open or shorted to ground in the engine harness or sensor
  • A supply wire open or shorted to ground
  • A malfunctioning EGR differential pressure sensor
  • Plugged differential ports
  • Ecm calibration out of date
Customer: replied 10 months ago.
What would you recommend doing first replacing the egr delta pressure sensor ?
Expert:  cumminsdr replied 10 months ago.

That is the most common failure and check to make sure the ports are not plugged with carbon when removed. If you find that the ports show carbon deposits remove the intake and clean the whole intake

Expert:  cumminsdr replied 10 months ago.

Excessive idling causes the carbon to accumulate in the system and cause issues. I hope this helped Please don't forget to rate my service
