Customer Question

Customer: Hi my name is ***** ***** -have problem with 2006 ford F650 with 5.9 cummins & 2400 allison automatic transmission=== have no communication with transmission i do have the engine & brake system. My bosch heavy truck did not see transmission Have tried another heavy truck tester to no avail. .The truck came with the transmission case cracked and no communication -replaced the transmisssion and today just received the new tcm. I have gone through the gray connectors several times for power and grounds. The continuity is good between #29 bus and #32 bus to the 9 pin also. Would like some help.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: THe truck was in limp mode with the back of transmission case cracked. It would clunk really hard and very noisy between reverse and drive. After checking both red & gray connectors for power I thought the tcm was bad also.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — JustAnswer charges a fee (generally around $54) to post your type of question to Heavy Equipment Experts (you only pay if satisfied). There are a couple customers ahead of you. Are you willing to wait a bit?

The only info i am coming up with for the 32 pin connectors is this. Let me know if it matches what you have and if not I can opt out to see if someone else can help further.

This generation TCM has two 32-pin receptacles labeled RED (J2) and GRAY (J1), each with different indexing to prevent the wrong plug from being inserted. Looking at each TCM connector, the pins are numbered 1-16 on the top row and 17-32 on the bottom.

All ready had the connector views and description with correct wire color codes of 32 pins gray and red. What you sent did not match what my connectors are. Still at a loss of the connector view ,description and where they are going for c3096 . I do have the wires coming from the 32 pin connector to the c3096 do not know if any go somewhere else from the connector c3096. This might be the problem of the no communication from the transmission.
