Customer Question

Hi; I have a 2005 Dodge 3500 with 5.9 Cummings. Recently dripping oil seemingly out rear main . I suspect oil breather may be causing crankcase .to press up. Maybe wishful thinking? 100kon truck pulled oil breather no pluggage . Should I be able to blow back through tube to crank?

Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

yes it is the rear main seal leaking

that is common on 5.9L cummins

No it would be hard to blow thru it, shop air 10 - 12 lBS will go thru it
