The injection pump has a triangle mounting plate, with three nuts, at equal positions, with studs in the front plate. Two are not easy to get at, but are there, a curved wrench makes accessibility better.

this is a ls180B has a different motor. injection pump shows one nut on a stud and a possible pivot point. pump gear is not removable from back side inspection hole.

I stand corrected, I found two nuts on studs but the front most one looks almost like a rivet or pivot point

First link shows to be B model, second link is just LS180, these are the only injection pumps shown!

You are correct, there is just two studs and nuts.

To get gear off, the front cover has to be removed, and the shaft nut removed.
