I am needing information on how to adjust the clutch on a 1968 Chevy c50 truck with a four speed transmission.

Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

5" is way too much

under the truck on the driver side you will see

a thread rod, with a wedge,that goes into the fork of the Throw out bearing

loosen the 2 nuts, and move it forward to take that play out of the rod

you want that wedge and fork about 1/4" , secure the nut and lock nut

then then will give you about 1-1 1/2 play in the pedal
