The engine locked up. Freightliner dealer disassembled

Customer Question

The engine locked up. Freightliner dealer disassembled engine and found dried hard orings on the oil pump. This of course caused insufficient lubrication therefore seized bearings and major damage throughout the engine. Freightliner is denying our warranty claim though we are under the mileage limit. Question: Wouldn't the orings in question be under warranty? If so, would the engine failure not also be under warranty? Do we have a legal leg to stand on?
