I'm not sure what you mean by front bearings? Are you referring to the idler gears behind the front cover?

I'm replacing the hub and bearings on the right side steering axle. I've got one nut and a cotter key. I need the torque specs for the nut n bearings.

Sorry for all your troubles getting a answer do you still need assistance with this?
You torque two times,,first time 100 ft lbs while trying to rotate wheel ,back all the way off,,next to 50 ft lbs while trying to rotate wheel,,back off no more than 1/4 turn.
So if cotter pin lines up just before 1/4 turn and wheel spins free you can use that hole.Install cotter pin.
