If you can walk me through the whole process of calibrating it, I will increase the amount.

good afternoon my name is ***** ***** I will assist
your truck ecm does not have the ability to perform this procedure. you need a test ecm that has the program to run the procedure to adjust the actuator.
do you have a test ecm with this procedure???

I was aware of that but I don't have a test ecm. Could we re flash the original ECM?
Expert:  roybelding replied 1 year ago.
the procedure option needs to be downloaded from detroit to a test ecm.

so its only accessible through the detroit server?
Expert:  roybelding replied 1 year ago.
that is correct. it would be cheaper to have a dealer do it than get a subscription for a Detroit program to access the server.

What is the name of the detroit program?

vnt calibration procedure

I went to the dealer and they said it'd be til next week that they can look at it because they're full. Plus they don't want to calibrate new actuator with old turbo. They said it'll take a couple of hours to do because the turbo is already old and worn and it won't calibrate precisely. Supposedly it was better off buying the whole turbo with the actuator already installed, but I don't have the money for that. Is it possible to just measure the lock but/adjuster to the desired mm's and run it like that?

*lock nut/adjuster

I dont understand that one. we do it all the time with old turbos.
no, by measuring the length, we use that just as a starting point in adjusting.
