Had a miss and checked exhaust temps with laser temp gun and no. 6 was running a lot cooler so changed all 6 injectors and still same problem even with exhaust temp on no. 6 Ran good at first took for spin up road and back and back to same problem. Wondering if possible injector wire broke or week. 2000 2ks cat in international. Thanks

Hi. Thanks for asking your question and requesting me. I will try and help you out.
Yes I must suspect a harness issue. I have seen this several times over the years. A lot of times when replacing the injector does not stop the miss. I often find a cammlobe failure or intake/exhaust valve not seating. I would check these first. If the valves and cam are OK. I would consider replacing the harness.
Also, it's always a good idea to check fuel pressure as well. Many times I see low fuel pressure cause an engine to miss. The 2KS must maintain a fuel pressure between 70-90 psi at all times.
