Andy3221 :

Hi there ! Just wondering ! Did you run out of fuel ?

JACUSTOMER-745q5g1j- :

no, fuel is fine, the light for the heating grid on the dash doesn't come on when you turn the key.

the "code" on the dash says " no Eng" and then ICU 140. It turns over but doesn't start.

Andy3221 :

what model of truck ?

JACUSTOMER-745q5g1j- :

Sterling Acterra, 5 ton, last six numbers of the vin, Y54025, mercedes diesel, year 2007.

Andy3221 :

Sounds like there is no pwer to ECM! Have you checked all fuses in panel and at battery box ?

JACUSTOMER-745q5g1j- :

Ok, I will check that right now and get back to you.

Andy3221 :

I have to leave shortly to go to work but will try and check in a few times

Andy3221 :

If there are fuses in the battery box , they will likely be for the ECM . Make sure fuses are tight in the holders !

JACUSTOMER-745q5g1j- :

When turning on the key, on the dash it reads: "2_1.3", then "no eng" then ICU 140

JACUSTOMER-745q5g1j- :

hey Andy, i did manage to get it started, i unhooked the cables from the ecm and hooked them back up. it ran for about 3 minutes and then stopped. now it is back to the same as before.
