Can the tailshaft bearing on a RT10-18913A transmission be replaced in the truck or does the transmission have to come out?????

This link will show You that there is a 1 bearing on the tailshaft, The only problem is that it is pressed on the the output shaft.
So when you take the yoke off and the seal housing, you can see the bearing, but you won't be able to move it.
Instead of taking the whole transmission out, I usually just take the back half off but there are special tools required to do so and it has to be timed when you reinstall it.

Thanks Jim, I am old old school like the 12513's. I will advise my customer that I will have to drop the back box, take it to my rebuilder and have the bearing replaced and also check counter shaft bearings.
