Not getting enough power at the starter to crank . 1994 F53 , with a 460 v8 new batterys with full charge new ford starter new fullcharged battery . new solonoiid . had a short (hooked up battery backwards ), melted the connections off of the solonoid , soldered new wires on the main negative lead to the altenator , hooked the Fused lead coming from the altenator in with the others and connected it to the ground lead from the altenator. new altenator. Need more power for the starter so we can check the computer to see what else I have buggered up

Hi i'm WayneI will help you with this Good MorningSounds to me like you have a bad ground, Start with a voltage drop test Using a multi meter , hook the black lead to the ground of battery hook the red lead to ground of starter , crank engine, you should see no more the 0.75 volt drop , any more then that , is a bad ground, Do same thing from battery to frame

Looks like we are OK now New Starter from Ford was Haywire. and the mechanic is checking out the wiring . Should have parts by friday morning . If they dont get there order in by noon we have t wait the extra day. I have been looking far an accept button but I Do accept your advice thank you.
