i have a 94 chevy k1500 suburban and im replacing the power steering pump because the pulley kept sliding off of the shaft and the shaft is wore so i put a new pump on and it worked for a few minutes then it started leaking out of the shaft seal. so i figured maybe i got a bad pump so i got another one and it did the same thing. the shaft gets pulled to the left if your looking at the pump from the front and it busted the shaft seal. i checked all the other pulleys and none of them have play or are warped and the tensioner is good too. im not sure what it could be cause it wasnt doing this before. i also bought a new pulley when i bought the new pump. could it be a bad pulley?
