4 weeks ago began experiencing extreme itching in both ears but one was sore so i went to get it checked out and they said I had fungal in both ears. Cortisporin both ears 3xday made it to 6 days and as it always does my ear got blocked up. They irrigated my ear with water high pressure device, my ear popped and it felt better, afterwards the dr said my eardrum (the one that popped and was stopped up even though I had been using drops in both ears felt better after popping) said eardrum looked red. Gave me amoxicillian 10 days 3x daily and ciprodex in that one ear and told me to take muscinex (i didnt take, fear of meds). The pressure on that side of my head (just a fraction not even half the side just around my ears side of my head) had pressure still, but I think it went away for a week, week and half. fast forward today 4 weeks from the start, i have pressure, same pressure and ringing or roaring very low in my ear. I feel better when i lay down but sitting up and walking pressure is worse. I went outside and heard all the night noises, came in to quiet house and my ear felt like my hearing went out, guess i got used to all that noise in there. Any suggestions? Oh i tried benadryl and when i took it my ear felt about 30 percent better but i just took a 1/4 teaspoon of childrens. fear of meds and i take a heart pill and afraid to mix.
