Hello, My mother is 58 years old and has been suffering from pain in her legs for the past 3 years or so. She has had high blood pressure for the past 10 years, is borderline diabetic and is 150 cm tall and weighs 70 kg, meaning her BMI is 31, i.e. obese. She has bruising behind her thighs and feels pain in her legs. The pain comes when she walks but goes away if she sits / lies down. Please see this image: http://imgur.com/2IS8idd - that is a picture of the back of her thighs, taken today. Is this varicose veins, internal bruising, claudication or something else? She has been to see various doctors and they have all provided a different diagnosis. I am very worried, please help if you can. Thanks
