My brother, 70 years of age, avid smoker and beer drinker has found out he has prostrate cancer [he says it is medium, so thinking maybe stage 3?] and now also today he found out that his aneurysm right below his heart has went from a 4.5 to a 5.3 since his last check up. He stand 6'2" and has lost weight from 205 now down to 195 in the last few weeks or less. He went to a doctor today who told him one of his choices was surgery for the cancer, he has decided to do that, BUT they told him to get his aneurysm done 1st, he has an appointment on the 2nd of July with a surgeon. I will be the one looking after him, what are his chances and what can I expect in the next 30 days or so. Please do not sugar coat it, I want it right off the cuff. Thanks.

How long can you live with holes in lungs, largest 6cenmet, Im 70 ex smoker, quit 7 yrs ago, just found out about holes, was in shock and didn't ask questions, now I have tons of questions but wont see specialist till July 24. Was told holes can explode and I die quickly.

I've had two stints put in about 3 years ago All has been well and testings have come back with good report. An dkg a couple of weeks ago was fine and neuclear stress test about 6 months ago showed no blockages and no heart damage.

Lately tho I've been having premature beats (yes these had been checked out too and I was told they are benign but that was awhile ago... not recently) On a couple of occasions my heart rate has bone up to the low 100's and that's usually in the low to mid 80's. These symptoms seem to go away or get better after I eat and I'm not bothered with them when I sleep that I know of.

I have an appointment with my GP in two days and I'm having the premature beats, I'm slightly short of breath and feel a little scared. In yur opinion would it be OK to wait the two days to see the DR. I might add I did notify my Cardiologist about this and he is going to see me in a couple of weeks.
