Hi. My 17 year old very healthy daughter is not feeling well today on Thanksgiving. This started out two days ago with what seemed like a cold. She continued to do her activities no matter how much I protested. She is cool, seems like no fever. But achy all over and sniffly nose and fatigue. I am suspecting the flu, but one strange thing is her right breast just to the right of her nipple is hurting and a little bit of a redness area. It hurts she said a lot, which I know would most likely not be cancer and it all started with the body aches. I wanted to know if this could be a flu and are there any lymph nodes in the breast near the aereola? I know her neck does not hurt at all hence meningitis. I will take her to the dr. if the breast continues to hurt after her aches are gone, but can you have a sore breast with redness with the flu? Also if just a breast infection, why the sniffly nose?
