I would like to inquire if I could be a candidate for LapBand surgery. I have fought my weight since childhood but was successful in maintaining a healthy weight with diet and exercise up until now. I am 63 years old, am disabled with fibromyalgia, use a CPAP due to sleep apnea, have bursitis in both hips, have mild essential tremors, hypothyroidism and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. I have also had my gall bladder removed and spleenectomy. Due to bursitis and fibromyalgia, I have become fairly sedate due to constant pain. My weight has gone out of control. I am 5'3" and weigh 201. I am very motivated to get my life back and healthy again. Would I be considered?
