I was treated for chlamydia 4 months ago , I took one dose of azithromycin & ever since i've had a watery yellow discharge with no odor. ive been wearing panty liners daily to avoid a mess but it's been very frustrating... could this mean i'm still infected?
JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: none
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: nothing aside from the chlamydia

Hello this is Dr. Stan and I will assist you with your question today. I am U.S. trained,

Board Certified and I have 32 years of patient experience. I am happy to help you. I'm sorry that you were diagnosed with Chlamydia. A single dose of Azithromycin is appropriate treatment for most women. If, after 4 months, you still have a discharge, you will need to be re-evaluated and most likely retreated.

I hope I have addressed all of your concerns.
