Customer Question

I'm having a lot of burning in my right breast, stomach and back it all seems to be around the rib areas. The pain makes it difficult to breathe
JA: How long have you been dealing with the burning? Are you experiencing any other discomfort?
Customer: I've had episodes for a few months but it is really severe right now. I had a MRI no disk issues but my pelvis keeps tilting/rotating.. Not sure if they are related but I feel like I'm on fire
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: Dr's have checked major organs and I've had a colonoscopy everything came back normal

Dear customer,

Thank you for the question.

Was an endoscopic examination of the stomach done? Was an ultrasound or other imagining study of the abdomen done?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I've had a ct scan and ultrasound plus a hydascan all normal

Dear customer,

Thank you for replying.

OK, these imagining studies will detect many possible conditions when present. So, they can be ruled out. Have you had an endoscopic examination of the stomach with a biopsy?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
No

Dear customer,

Thank you for replying.

Then this is the next recommended investigation to know the cause for your symptoms. A gastric or duodenal ulcer or gastritis can lead to acid or bile reflux and can the burning in the stomach and chest. So, I would recommend having an endoscopic examination with biopsy. If a diagnosis is made then treating it with medications; such as antibiotics for H.pylori infection of the stomach will be beneficial.

Take care.
