Dear customer,

Thank you for the question.

Since when does she have diarrhea? What medications have you tried to decrease the frequency of bowel movements? Does she have fever or any other symptoms (such as vomiting or abdominal pain)?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
was some vomiting but no more no abdomen pain

Dear customer,

Thank you for replying.

At present I would recommend that you try the medication Pepto-Bismol, since this will reduce the number of bowel movements. However, avoid using it if there is abdominal pain, in which case you should consult her doctor for an examination. She should also take probiotics that are available in capsule form or in certain brands of yogurt like Danone Activia.

Most cases of diarrhea are self limited, and will clear up on their own within a few days. So the main treatment is fluid replacement, which she is already doing. In addition Pepto-Bismol will help.

Take care.
