I got a hold of the doctor on call. he said it might have some bleeding or fluid down in the scrum. To ice it and support it.
Expert:  Dr. Arun Phophalia replied 5 months ago.

This is right. There may be tiny bleeding at the surgical site. It communicates, with the scrotum and this causes swelling. Since it is blood trickling down, this changes red to blue and black, and thus the color of scrotum. If the swelling or pain increases, you need to go to emergency room.
