My son is experiencing discomfort in his head whenever he is

Customer Question

My son is experiencing discomfort in his head whenever he is sitting down. He noticed this problem several years ago when using specific chairs. Now it's with all chairs. He's spent last three months lying in bed; he lies in back seat in car; he eats standing up. He's seen psychiatrist, neurologist and had MRI. No one can say what it is. He's on Tegretol 400 mg twice a day for 1 month without relief. He describes it as a pressure building up at back of his head. Can you advise where we can look for some help/relief? His life is 'on hold'. He's 30 years old.
JA: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?
Customer: As mentioned, he's on Tegretol 400 mg twice a day.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: He's dealt with depression and lives with high level of anxiety. His doctors think it's psychological; he does not. Insists it's physical.
