Have Medical Questions? Ask a Doctor Online!
Hello from JustAnswer.
I am sorry that no expert as yet responded, but it is likely because there is no standard answer in this situation. The best that I can do is suggest a couple of options that may not have been tried.
If Dr. Odegaard had privileges at a local hospital, you could call the medical records department or the medical staff services office at that hospital. They may not have the records, but they may be aware of the location of the records.
You also could call the medical board for your state. The medical board would not have the records, but may be aware of whatever arrangements were made when he closed his practice.
