Customer Question

My husband is 79. He has stage 4 kidney disease, and is also on a catheter. 5 days ago he caught a cold. No fever, but he has no energy, a slight cough and is sleeping a lot. Since he is not running an elevated temp he refuses to go to his primary care dr. I got him an OTC cough medicine that did not list any kidney warnings, and am being very judicious about giving it to him. Ideas?
