Customer Question

I have been going to my doctor since may for the same issue. Most recently on nov 9 And was prescribed 2-21 tablet packs of methyl prednisone and 30 pills of cephalexin. It knocked back the issues but I finished Meds Tuesday and it's all coming back. I am hiv positive for 10 years. Viral load low so never been on Meds. I think this is cellulitis. With a mrsa infection. What should I do?

Antibiotics like cephalexin usually are given for 1 to 2 weeks but you might need to continue methylprednisolone. I would recommend you to followup with your doctor for examination so that he can decide further management plan. You might need to continue prednisolone depending upon the present condition of the cellulitis.

Hope this helps.
