Customer Question

What is a bladder restriction test?
JA: Have you seen a doctor about this yet? What medications are you taking?

It is group of tests used to assess function of the urinary tract by measuring various aspects of urine storage and evacuation. The purpose of the testing is to aid in understanding physiologic mechanisms of lower urinary tract dysfunction, thereby improving the accuracy of diagnosis and facilitating targeted treatment.

The two doctors at the TN Veteran's Admin think that my brother has 90% bladder cancer. I do not know what you are talking about.
Is there anything the doctors can do? He is wearing a catherer and having to change it 4 x's a day.
Would this bladder restriction test require an overnight stay in the hospital?
Customer: replied 6 months ago.
No, that's ok. My brother will find out soon,
Thank you anyway.

the $50 fee is for an extra service for phone consultation to talk to a specialist by phone. you don't have to accept this.

there is no test called a bladder restriction test.

there are bladder urodynamic studies which can be done .

there are foley withdraw voiding trails which can be done to remove the foley to see if he is urinating without a foley.

he may need a cystoscopy and TURB transurethral resection of bladder tumor to cut out bladder tumor from inside of his bladder to debunk as much bladder cancer as possible.
