Hello,

Myself Dr Josh- and I’m happy to help with your question today.

Well, Ejection fraction (EF) means how well your left ventricle (or right ventricle) pumps blood with each heart beat.

For a person at your age- A normal left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) should be from 55% to 70%.

Having a ejection fraction between 50 and 55 percent, is considered "borderline" range.

Having a ejection fraction of 50 percent or lower is considered reduced.
